At last, the geust book is back open: yipeee)
Well, I have been following the forecast on here, the bbc website and other sources for several months and James has been reltavely bob on all year.... The bbc hinted at a "indian summer" for the start of next week and forecast 20" in London... then 3 days later the video disappeared and the forecast changed to "just a mild start to next week", how convenient... anyway, its looking like the start of November from another website very cold indeed.. so, if it all happens, James in bob on..... Thanx James. )))

When will the forecast for the winter be available to read I don't particular want to pay for it as suggest in the uk long range home page and will be disappointed if I have to as I have been using this site for the last 2 years an highly recommend this site to my family and friends and I think the forecast that's predicted is pretty spot on but eager to to know what the forecast is as the summer has been pretty rubbish and after reading about the sea ice I would love to read that we may get a white Christmas here in the south east :-)

Hi there... extreme news from the Northwest of England.. Today/ this afternoon we had a thunder storm in my area, which was quite bad for the area as usually its so sheltered. The storm lasted about half an hr, not much you say?.. well, the roads were flooded, it was that bad cars were stopping as it appeared so torrential and dangerous... Then the same storm caused more flooding in Manchester with Hail stones reported, but the hail was that bad, in places it turned the roads and grass white ( looked like winter)... Then, another half hr later, sun is shinning and warm...WFT is going on.. it's only Aug, yet were getting what appears to be like Autumnal weather...but extreme....James.. you have predicted all of it on here on your long term 4cast.. nice one......

Alison Browning.... i dunno where you've been living as this year the UK has suffered one of the coldest summers for yrs... we've hsd the odd occassional period of heat n humidity, but that has been v short n very extreme... in around 4wks time is the start if autumn, but already in Scotland they'v forecast a possible frost.... thats shocking!!

this summer, the summer of 2012 has been the 5th in a row of warm, humid, claggy summers, quite evil, we havn't had a proper , cool , crisp golden autumn for years now. I hope at least we get a cold, frosty winter, the whole year with climate change seems to be the same most of the time warm, wet, mush. I hate muggy weather more than I hate hot weather and thats saying something.
